Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement, the Assistant Director plays a key role in advancing regional programming within the Development and Alumni Engagement division. This position leads the planning, execution, and on-site support of chapter events for alumni, donors, students and parents nationwide. Serving as the main liaison for chapter leaders, the Assistant Director helps establish new chapters and strengthens existing ones, ensuring alignment and consistency in event strategy, budgeting and resource support.

Work Environment: The work environment is lively and energetic. Daily responsibilities are primarily performed in an office environment; however, events may occur indoors or outdoors and frequently require work outside normal business hours.
Pay Grade: 5
Work authorization sponsorship may be available for this position. However, sponsorship is contingent upon the non-applicability of the visa petition fees outlined in the relevant Executive Order signed September 19, 2025. Due to the recent federally-mandated increased financial expense, the university is not in a position to absorb this significantly increased cost of sponsorship for new H-1B petitions at this time.
