Assistant Dining Room Manager – Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and service-oriented Assistant Dining Room Manager to join our Dining Services team. This full-time position is ideal for someone with food service supervisory experience who enjoys leading a team and providing exceptional service to seniors.

Great Schedule - No Late Nights!

• Full-Time, Monday–Saturday: Out by approximately 8:30 PM
• Sunday: Out by approximately 3:30 PM
• Must have the flexibility to work every other weekend

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Review daily assignments and priorities with the Director of Dining Services and/or Executive Chef.
• Supervise dining room and service staff to ensure professional, courteous, and exceptional service.
• Oversee the appearance, cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the Dining Room, Bistro, Private Dining Room, and storage areas.
• Welcome and assist residents and guests, answer questions regarding menu selections, and provide recommendations as appropriate.
• Coordinate dining functions and special events with the Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef to ensure they are executed professionally and in a timely manner.
• Assist with the training, supervision, and scheduling of dining room staff.
• Promote teamwork and maintain positive working relationships with residents, guests, employees, and management.
• Ensure dining operations follow established food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous food service supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train dining service staff.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to remain professional and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must enjoy working with and providing service to the senior population.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent service.

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including every other weekend
