Assistant Daycare Teacher/Teacher's Aide

Assist in the maintenance of the classroom as a clean, organized, and safe place for the children to spend time. Two Reference Letters (indicating the number of hours working directly with children).

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact and encourage children in activities during the day.
• Provide nurturing care while helping them develop independent skills.
• Help children learn appropriate social skills.
• Assist the classroom teacher with planning activities for the children.
• Assist in the maintenance of the classroom as a clean, organized, and safe place for the children to spend time.
• Must comply with state regulations as well as with Program Policies of Countryside Daycare and Preschool.

Teacher Requirements:

• Classroom experience in working with children is required.
• Dependability and commitment.
• Flexibility

Must Provide the following documents prior to commencing employment:

• PA DHS Child Abuse Clearance (within the last four years)
• PA State Police Clearance (within the last four years)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (within the last four years)
• Two Reference Letters (indicating the number of hours working directly with children)
• Mandated Reporter Child Abuse Online Training (within the last four years)
• Mandated 10 Hours Health and Safety Training through Better Kid Care.
• First Aid and Pediatric CPR training (within the last year)

Time Commitment:


4 - 6 hours per day (part-time)
