Position SummaryAt Bright Kids Learning Academy, Assistant Daycare Teachers support the classroom by helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. This role serves as the foundation for developing future Lead Teachers and requires a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute consistently to classroom success.
Responsibilities- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities
- Assist in supervising children to ensure safety at all times
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant classroom environment
- Encourage positive interactions among children
- Provide support during meals, transitions, and playtime
- Observe children and communicate any concerns to the Lead Teacher
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Assist with classroom setup, breakdown, and daily routines
- Demonstrate reliability and flexibility in scheduling (including opening/closing support)
Qualifications- Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider, preferred
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid/CPR certified

Pay- $16.00 per hour
