    Position Summary
    At Bright Kids Learning Academy, Assistant Daycare Teachers support the classroom by helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. This role serves as the foundation for developing future Lead Teachers and requires a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute consistently to classroom success.

    Responsibilities
    • Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities 
    •  Assist in supervising children to ensure safety at all times 
    •  Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant classroom environment 
    •  Encourage positive interactions among children 
    •  Provide support during meals, transitions, and playtime 
    •  Observe children and communicate any concerns to the Lead Teacher 
    •  Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations 
    •  Assist with classroom setup, breakdown, and daily routines 
    •  Demonstrate reliability and flexibility in scheduling (including opening/closing support) 
    Qualifications
    • Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider, preferred
    • Strong understanding of child development
    • Patient, kind, and nurturing
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
    • First aid/CPR certified

    Pay
    • $16.00 per hour
    • Paid semi-monthly
    Compensation: $16.00 per hour
