POSITION SUMMARY: The Youth Services Assistant Coordinator is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative, logistical, and programmatic support to ensure the effective daily operations of an assigned youth center. This role is essential in supporting the organization's mission to provide safe, engaging, and developmentally enriching environments for young people. The assistant coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of afterschool activities that align with the program's core focus areas: culture, education, wellness, and citizenship. These activities are designed to promote personal growth, community engagement, and positive youth development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REPORTS TO: Reports directly to the Youth Services Director or to the Lead Coordinator in the absence of the director.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to keep up with youth in various physical activities & lift up to 25lbs. Travel Required: Regular daily travel to one of the designated Youth Center sites, including Watchetaker Hall, Apache Community Center, Walters Community Center, or the Cache-Cahoma Building.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Split between and office environment and being physical or outdoors with the children. Professional and Confidential.
