ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAMAS:
The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) creates and coordinates services that enhance the quality of life for Cambridge residents. Driven by the needs of residents, DHSP's extensive services and programs touch almost every sector in the city: from newborns to senior citizens, from school-aged children to homeless families, from non-profit organizations to local employers.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Mayors Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP), operated by the Office of Workforce Development (OWD), is a public sector summer employment program serving more than 1000 Cambridge teens every year. Under the supervision of the Director of Youth Employment, the Assistant Coordinator for Program Operations will manage day to day operations for MSYEP.
