Assistant Cook

Wisconsin Dells Elementary School is seeking a dependable and friendly Assistant Cook to join our school nutrition team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals to students and staff in a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing daily school lunches and meal prep.
• Set up serving lines and serve meals to students and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment following safety guidelines.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup, dishwashing, and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and interact positively with students.

Qualifications:

• Prior kitchen, food service, or cooking experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
