Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including journal entries, payroll, purchasing, billing/AR, tax reporting, and reconciliations

  • Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; ensure audit readiness and compliance

  • Build unit financial plans and budgets, and deliver analysis and reporting to leadership

  • Resolve complex accounting and compliance issues as the primary finance contact for assigned units

  • Oversee key administrative functions such as onboarding, system access approvals, and staff training

  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; CPA and/or public accounting background highly preferred

  • Strong command of financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls

  • Proven experience leading teams within a large, decentralized organization

  • Advanced Excel skills; Workday experience a plus
