Assistant Controller | Houston, TX

UNITY has partnered with global energy services client to identify an experienced Assistant Controller who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys improving processes, partnering with operations, and helping build a world-class finance organization.

What You'll Do:
• Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and technical accounting analyses
• Oversee inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing variances, and standard costing
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to improve profitability and inventory accuracy
• Support external audits, tax reporting, cash management, and treasury activities
• Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to public company readiness initiatives
• Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP reporting enhancements

What We're Looking For:
 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
 Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
 Manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting experience
 NetSuite ERP experience
 CPA preferred
 Oil & Gas, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products experience is a plus
