About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established multifamily developer and general contractor with a strong presence in the Atlanta market, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support ground-up multifamily construction projects. This is a strong opportunity for a rising construction professional to grow within a stable, high-growth organization.

Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager and project team across all phases of construction for multifamily developments, helping coordinate subcontractors, manage documentation, and keep projects on track from mobilization through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and overall project coordination
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, coordination, and contract administration
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and material tracking
• Help prepare and track change orders and pay applications
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and municipal officials as needed
• Support quality control and safety compliance on site
• Assist with project closeout documentation, punch lists, and warranty processes
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Previous multifamily construction experience preferred; wrap or podium product experience a plus, garden-style experience also welcome
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Eagerness to grow into a Project Manager role

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience
• Annual bonus eligibility
