District Job Posting Assistant Coach- Swimming Ramapo High SchoolApplication Deadline: October 1, 2026Reports to: Director of Athletics and Student ActivitiesDescription: The Ramapo Indian Hills Regional HS District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Swim Coach at Ramapo High School for the 2026-2027 season. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the swim program, fostering a positive environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Responsibilities: ? Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, drills, and workouts. ? Provide instruction on swim techniques, strategies, and rules. ? Support meet-day operations, including warm-ups, and post-meet analysis. ? Mentor student-athletes, promoting academic success and development ? Assist with equipment management and logistics with players and parents. ? Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful team culture. Qualifications: ? Previous coaching and/or swimming experience at the high school, collegiate, or club level, preferred. ? Strong knowledge of swimming fundamentals, strategies, and safety protocols. ? Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, athletic staff, and school administration. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for high school athletes. ? Availability for practices, games, and team events, including evenings and weekends.
