Assistant Clinical Director

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Clinical Director to oversee daily clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical ABA services.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance coaching to BCBAs, Clinical Supervisors, BTs, and RBTs.
• Oversee client assessments, treatment plans, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and ongoing progress to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Review clinical documentation and maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, HIPAA, payer requirements, and company policies.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated, client-centered care.
• Assist with staff hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development while fostering a positive team culture.
• Support caseload management, scheduling, and clinical quality assurance initiatives to promote operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance during client escalations, behavior crises, and clinical decision-making to support staff and ensure client safety.
• Stay current with evidence-based ABA practices and implement continuous improvements in clinical programming.
• Support the Clinical Director with strategic initiatives, program development, and other leadership responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical ABA experience, with previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior intervention planning, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Experience supervising and mentoring BCBAs, Clinical Supervisors, BTs, and RBTs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with insurance-funded ABA services and documentation requirements.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a high standard of clinical care and ethical practice.
