Aquinas College, a member of the NAIA, Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) and USA Cheer (STUNT) is seeking an Assistant Cheer & STUNT Coach. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach in upholding and promoting the mission of Aquinas College while assisting in building competitive and academically successful Cheer & STUNT programs rooted in integrity, leadership, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the Cheer and STUNT programs, including coaching, recruitment, student-athlete development and competition prep.

Responsible for assisting the Head Coach in meeting the required roster numbers each year by recruiting and retaining student-athletes who align with the values and academic standards of Aquinas College.

Create a meaningful student athlete experience by fostering a positive team culture that emphasizes personal development, academic achievement, sportsmanship, and service.

Assist with the coordination of scheduling of practices, games, and team travel in compliance with college and conference guidelines.

Ensure compliance with NAIA, WHAC, and institutional rules and regulations.

Assist in the coordination of community outreach and contribute to departmental fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives.

Collaborate with campus departments including, but not limited to, Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Athletic Training to support student-athlete success.

Other duties as assigned by Head Coach.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Proven experience competing and coaching in the sports of Cheer and STUNT

Demonstrated success in recruiting, leadership, and program development.

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work evenings, weekends and travel as needed.
