Position Overview
The Assistant Boys Soccer Coach supports the Head Coach in developing and leading the boys' soccer program at Sheboygan Christian School. This position helps student-athletes grow in skill, character, teamwork, and Christ-centered living through athletics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting practices and game preparation
- Support the Head Coach in developing game strategy and player development
- Provide individual instruction and encouragement to student-athletes
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and school spirit
- Help supervise athletes before, during, and after practices and competitions
- Ensure player safety and proper use of equipment and facilities
- Model Christ-like character and support the school's mission and core values
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and coaching staff as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as equipment management and travel support
