Role Overview
We're hiring a few Assistant Beekeepers to support our field operations team in Fort Meade Florida. This is a hands-on, entry-level role focused on learning the fundamentals of beekeeping while assisting experienced team members with daily hive management and maintenance. No prior experience is required-we provide training.
Key Responsibilities
Assist experienced beekeepers with hive inspections and routine maintenance
Support hive setup, construction, and transportation
Perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting, loading, and equipment handling
Help prepare materials and equipment for daily fieldwork
Follow instructions to support pest management and hive treatments
Assist with honey extraction and processing activities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field
What You'll Learn
