About the Role:
Join our passionate team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #80 in Overland Park, KS, as an Assistant Bakery Manager! This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead a team in creating delicious, handcrafted cakes while ensuring a delightful experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
- Ensure high-quality cake production and presentation standards are met.
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering.
- Train and mentor team members on baking techniques and customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support customer service efforts and resolve any guest concerns.
- Help develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales.
- Assist in scheduling and managing staff shifts effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for baking and cake decoration.
- Basic math skills for inventory and cash handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
