This is a full-time 12-month contract faculty position within the well-established School of Nursing's pre-licensure programs. The Simulation Center role collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality simulation-based learning that supports the School of Nursing's mission and outcomes. Responsibilities include participating in all aspects of simulation experiences in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
Teaching Responsibilities
Teaching simulations, or an equivalent as approved by the Dean, is one of the primary responsibilities of this position. The teaching load for this position is fulfilled through full-time on campus simulation instruction rather than by a specified number of didactic course sections. Simulation teaching responsibilities are considered equivalent to a full teaching assignment (7 sections/28 WLUs) and constitute 100% of the position's workload. No course releases or administrative time are associated with this position.

Qualifications/Skills
Terms of Service: This is a Boston-based 12-month contract non-tenure role that reports to the Assistant Director for Simulation. Consistent with the Faculty Policy Manual (FPM), contract faculty are expected to teach seven courses per year (or the equivalent as approved by the Dean) and will receive an annual evaluation. Contract faculty are expected to adhere to all applicable Simmons policies.
Salary Range: $85,196-$116,716
