Vermont State University (VTSU), Williston/St. Albans campus invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Nursing for academic year 2026-2027, teaching across the Practical Nursing (PN) Program and Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program.
Qualified candidates will be offered a tenure-track position or a one-year terminal contract, renewable for up to three years, based on the individuals years of full-time clinical nursing experience and years of full-time teaching in an accredited nursing program. The rank of Assistant/Associate Professor will be based on an individuals years of full-time clinical nursing experience and years of full-time teaching in an accredited nursing program.
This opportunity is for a new faculty to create a dynamic active learning environment for students. This is an in-person faculty position that will require the individual to teach both in the classroom and in clinical setting (agency, lab, and/or simulation). Faculty expectations are commensurate with the expectations outlined in the Faculty Federation Agreement and include demonstrating effective teaching and advising; engaging in scholarship and professional practice; and providing service to the University and the greater Vermont community.

Minimum Qualifications:
Teaching load will average 24 credit hours or the equivalent per academic year.
Salary: Based on qualifications and experience as defined by the VSC-VSCFF Bargaining Unit Agreement, no less than $57,500 per annum plus benefits.
