Most excitingly, our story is still unfolding, and incredible growth opportunities lie ahead...WHAT IS THE JOB?The Assistant, Allocation Analyst drives operational excellence through the strategic execution of initial and replenishment inventory allocations across both retail stores and e-commerce channels. This role is responsible for analyzing sales performance, monitoring stock levels, and evaluating inventory strategies to ensure optimal product availability and efficiency. The Analyst proactively identifies trends and responds with data-driven adjustments to support business objectives. This position reports to the Director of Planning, is classified as a full-time, exempt role and is onsite in Atlanta, GA.WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?Inventory Distribution: Execute initial product allocations to stores based on regional demand, store capacity, and sales forecasts. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data, sell-through rates, and stock-to-sales ratios to make data-driven allocation decisions. Planning: Forecast/plan inbound and outbound receipts flowsFocus on in-season management of inventory levels in each store location to maximize salesPlan store-level stock optimization with execution of initial allocations, store replenishment and maintenance of ideal model stockConduct monthly and seasonal inventory consolidations based on performance and demandManage basic stock & evergreen replenishment and allocations adjusting parameters to prevent overstock or out-of-stock situationManage end-of-season pull-backsParticipate in weekly Merch team calls with all stores and react and execute accordinglySupport store requests with localized inventory needsSupport seasonal hindsight with focus on store performance and opportunities to optimize inventoryWHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS?Analytical Thinking: Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret sales reports and metrics.Microsoft Office Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills to track thousands of SKUs and logistical movements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with buyers, merchandise planners, and warehouse teams to ensure the right product mix arrives at the right time.
