You will be a student of our business and of the client’s business, responsible for understanding process, distilling meetings and communicating next steps, as well as directing agency teams. You will support a global brand that is a leader in the beauty category and be responsible for understanding business drivers, category landscape, research data and learning as well as competitive work. You will aid the team in their ambition to create breakthrough, award-winning marketing.

  • Set priorities, organize workstreams, manage assigned projects and support mid-level business leads on larger projects.

  • Develop and/or update weekly and monthly status reports, cultural and competitive audits, budget tracking, etc.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Strategy, Project Management and Production teams, understanding and respecting each department’s role within the agency and promoting a collaborative environment.

  • Begin to develop relationships with clients and integrated team partners across various disciplines, business areas, and regions throughout their organizations.

  • Start to become knowledgeable about the business, learning the ins and outs of the products and competitive landscape to support the team and the work, and help the day-to-day business run smoothly.

  • Participate in internal and client meetings and capture meeting notes, issuing them in a timely manner to help keep the team and project on track.

  • Support and assist with various elements of production across the traditional, digital, and/or social spaces.

What we expect from you:

  • Meetings and projects run smoothly and are aligned with agency process; client expectations and next steps are consistently clear.

  • Members of cross-functional departments seek you out as a source of knowledge about the business, projects, and next steps.

  • You understand as much about the business as your client counterparts, and regularly bring them insights and perspectives they haven’t considered.

  • You contribute to internal and client meetings and your colleagues value and make space for your input.

  • You anticipate agency and client needs and are able to get ahead, ready with intelligence about competitors, preparing agendas and drafting decks before they’re requested.

What you bring:

  • 0-2 years of professional experience, including internships, ideally in an advertising agency setting.

  • Highly organized, meticulous, resourceful, and proactive in nature.

  • Willing to take on new challenges, adaptable and ready to immerse yourself in the role.

  • Ability to juggle several assignments at once and work on projects with multiple contributors

  • Clear and concise communicator with excellent written, verbal, and critical thinking skills; you have a natural ability to effectively collaborate and are a good listener and problem solver.

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Culturally astute, with an innate interest and knowledge of the beauty and fashion categories; a passion for marketing and appreciation for all things creative.
