    The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front office department within a hospitality environment. This position supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk activities, guest services, and staff management to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role involves coordinating with various departments to maintain high standards of service, resolve guest issues promptly, and optimize operational workflows. The Assistant Front Office Manager also contributes to training and mentoring front office staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment. Ultimately, this position is key to enhancing guest satisfaction, driving repeat business, and supporting the overall success of the property.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in front office operations within the hospitality industry.
    • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role in a hotel or similar environment.
    • Strong knowledge of front office software and property management systems (PMS).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
    • Experience with revenue management and guest service optimization techniques.
    • Familiarity with multiple property management systems and booking platforms.
    • Certification in hospitality management or customer service excellence.
    • Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing daily front office operations including guest check-in and check-out processes.
    • Supervise and support front desk staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and service standards.
    • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
    • Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and efficient team.
    • Monitor front office financial transactions, including billing and cash handling, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of front office procedures and service improvement initiatives.

    The Assistant Front Office Manager utilizes strong organizational and leadership skills daily to coordinate front desk operations and manage staff effectively.
