The General Store, a locally owned ACE Hardware store in Spokane, WA, is looking for a highly skilled Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets and providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Asset Protection Manager in identifying and addressing potential concerns such as shoplifters and inventory errors
- Provide positive representation of the store and assist customers with problem-solving
- Handle customer complaints and ensure a friendly shopping experience
- Utilize basic computer operations and Microsoft Excel for store operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- 1+ years of loss prevention/asset protection experience preferred
- Strong visual presence and motivation to work
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Effective communication skills in English
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel between multiple locations within Spokane County
