MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Asset Manager to join our team in McLean, VA. This role is critical in overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning. You will ensure accurate asset inventory, compliance with company policies, and optimization of resources to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle management of IT assets, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive asset inventories, including both scheduled and customer-requested audits.
  • Verify asset details, including location and status, ensuring data accuracy across all records.
  • Review and validate asset information for incoming transactions to maintain precise documentation.
  • Retrieve and reconcile assets listed across various accounts, ensuring proper allocation and tracking.
  • Local travel may be required between customer buildings or temporary assignment to an alternate location in support of special projects.
  • Member of a team comprised of a variety of skills that provide coverage from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 11+ years of experience or an associate's degree with 9+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of customer and asset management regulations, policies, and unique authorities.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing customer asset management tools and software.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to analyze data and develop comprehensive reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with co-workers, management, and customers while exchanging accurate information.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks and requirements while learning new skills on the job.
  • Experience leading teams or driving asset management process improvements.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office productivity machinery for extended periods.
  • Must be able to move and traverse within and between buildings and offices to maintain equipment and cabling, including under desks, floor tiles, and in server closets.
  • Must be able to move audio/visual or computer equipment weighing 50+ pounds, using team-lifts or carts as necessary.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend a ladder 10+ feet high while pulling cables and adjusting equipment.

The projected compensation range for this position is $107,900.00-$179,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
