    Position Summary: KaylaTek is seeking an Asset Manager who will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of thousands of critical IT assets, ensuring perfect accountability and operational readiness in one of the nation's most secure facilities. This is a high-visibility position requiring exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, a high degree of self-motivation, and the ability to operate independently within stringent security protocols. The successful candidate will be a key member of a team providing direct support to Headquarters Air Force (HAF), the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS). This role operates in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where senior leaders and national defense missions require that operations never fail.

    • Active DOD Top Secret (final) with SCI eligibility

    Essential Job Functions

    • Full Lifecycle Asset Management:
      • Independently and meticulously maintain an inventory tracking system of over 8,000 IT assets using Microsoft Excel and asset management software (e.g., Remedy/ServiceNow).
    • Manual Inventory & Data Entry:
      • Manage all stockroom operations, including receiving, asset tagging, secure storage, and disposal. This role requires heavy manual data entry, as the use of hand-held scanners is prohibited within the SCIF environment.
    • Reporting and Analysis:
      • Generate and deliver precise and detailed asset inventory reports for critical infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, printers, and servers.
    • Stakeholder Support:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for asset management, providing a high level of customer service to leadership and technical teams.
    • High-Stakes Inventory Control:
      • Perform regular, in-person physical inventories of assets, working independently to ensure 100% accuracy.

    Basic Qualifications

    • An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced features in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data filtering) for managing large datasets.
    • Demonstrated experience using enterprise IT asset management systems (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow, or similar).
    • Proven experience in IT asset management or inventory control where meticulous attention to detail was critical
    • Experience working independently and as a self-starter in a role requiring minimal supervision.
    • Familiarity with SCIF security procedures and the handling of classified IT equipment.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Direct experience working within the Pentagon, a military command center, or a similar high-security DoD/IC environment.
    • Experience using SharePoint and shared network drives for documentation and collaboration.
    • Knowledge of ITIL principles for IT Asset Management (ITAM).
