    Position Overview

    We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support ongoing IT Asset Management operations and multiple State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives.

    The analyst will support the analysis and maintenance of the IT asset database, validate hardware inventories across multiple locations, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset records within ServiceNow.

    This role will also involve reviewing and improving asset management processes and procedures, researching new device models and part standards, and generating scheduled reports to support compliance, audits, operational requirements, and executive oversight.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical skills, organizational abilities, and experience working with enterprise IT assets and inventory data.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze and maintain IT asset inventory data across multiple locations.
    • Validate hardware inventories and reconcile physical assets against database records.
    • Ensure accurate and complete asset records within ServiceNow.
    • Track computer-related assets throughout their complete lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, assignment, maintenance, transfer, recovery, and retirement.
    • Support State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives and large-scale asset deployment and recovery efforts.
    • Coordinate with IT field teams, desktop support teams, logistics personnel, and end users to resolve asset-related issues.
    • Review existing asset management processes and procedures and recommend improvements.
    • Research new computer/device models, hardware standards, and part information.
    • Maintain asset documentation, inventory records, and supporting information.
    • Generate scheduled asset management reports for compliance, audits, management, and executive oversight.
    • Analyze asset data to identify discrepancies, trends, exceptions, and opportunities for process improvement.
    • Support inventory reconciliation and data-quality initiatives.
    • Assist with the implementation and adoption of new asset management tools, systems, and ServiceNow modules.
    • Support asset tracking and reporting throughout the IT asset lifecycle.
    • Assist with audits and provide accurate asset information when requested.
    • Coordinate asset-related activities across IT, procurement, logistics, field support, and business teams.
    • Perform other asset management and analytical duties as assigned.

    Required / Preferred Skills

    • Experience with ServiceNow, particularly Asset Management or related modules.
    • Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles and lifecycle management.
    • Experience with hardware inventory tracking and reconciliation.
    • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
    • Ability to work with large volumes of asset records and identify discrepancies.
    • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with IT field teams, end users, vendors, and other stakeholders.

    Preferred Experience

    • ServiceNow Asset Management experience.
    • Enterprise IT asset tracking experience.
    • Desktop support experience.
    • Logistics or IT logistics experience.
    • Experience supporting large-scale hardware deployment and recovery initiatives.
    • Experience with inventory reconciliation and asset lifecycle management.
    • Experience supporting audits, compliance reporting, and asset governance.
    • Experience working with large enterprise or public-sector organizations.
