Job Posting

The Asset/Inventory Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Lincoln Pipestone Rural Waters asset management and inventory systems. This position oversees the tracking, valuation, condition assessment, and maintenance planning of system assets and inventory while supporting efficient operations across the organization. The role works closely with management, staff, contractors, and regulatory agencies to protect and maintain the water system infrastructure and ensure the delivery of safe, reliable drinking water. Responsibilities include managing the OpenGov asset platform, coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing fleet and inventory control, preparing reports and budget recommendations, providing staff training, and assisting with system operations and emergency response. The position combines technical, analytical, and operational duties and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to public health and safety.
