The successful candidate will be able to balance; asset management responsibilities for a portfolio, coach, mentor, and train Asset Analysts, and implement improved departmental processes, establishing best practices for workflows and quality assurance.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

PAY: $85,000 - $90,000 / salary

Duties

  • Partner with operations, accounting, compliance, and ownership stakeholders to optimize asset performance, mitigate risk, and ensure regulatory and partnership requirements are met.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, performance management, and process improvements.
  • Support strategic initiatives and provide portfolio-level analysis, recommendations, and ad hoc reporting to senior leadership.
  • Maintain and update all required internal periodic reports and well as maintain the tracking system.
  • Prepare annual calculations for annual distributions of surplus cash prior to budgeted distribution date.
  • Determine if appeals or applications for waiver of taxes on an annual basis are necessary and provide findings to Asset Managers.
  • Complete personal property tax filings annually.
  • Provide third parties with evidence of insurance coverage as required.
  • Request reimbursement from Escrows when applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of experience in project economic and financial statement analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in asset management, property management, and/or real estate finance.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form.
  • Problem solving with solution focus.
  • Flexibility - work in a complex and changing organization and adapt to changes in structure and work priorities.
  • Actively portray a positive attitude, professionalism, and integrity
