Job Responsibilities
Duties
Assist in the assembly of mechanical components following detailed blueprints, schematics, and production documents
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure components meet specifications
Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and efficiently
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to support mechanical assembly tasks
Conduct quality checks using shop math and precision measurement techniques to verify component accuracy
Support the handling of materials through manual handling procedures and warehouse experience practices
Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
Qualifications
Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes and technical drawings
Experience or familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools (nice-to-have)
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing documents with attention to detail
Proficiency in shop math for measurements, calculations, and conversions required during assembly tasks
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, or specialized industrial tools (preferred)
Strong manual dexterity and manual handling skills for assembling small components accurately
Warehouse or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Willingness to learn machining techniques, soldering processes, and interpreting technical drawings for mechanical assembly tasks
