The Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our San Jose, CA Headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical assembly on production items.
- Assists in material and packaging processing.
- Assists in the calibration of all Mountz products.
- Conducts all tasks/responsibilities keeping always in mind the Manufacturing Department objectives and the continual improvement of Mountz's Quality Management System.
- Supports and participates in the company's health and safety program.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Skills:
- Complex Mechanical Assembly
- Simple Electronic Assembly:
RoHS-Compliant Assembly Experience
Handling and/or Inspection of PCBAs
Through-hole Hand Soldering
Hand-Soldering Wires Experience
Cutting, Stripping, & Crimping Wires
- Pre-set hand-tool calibration
- Hand-tool QC
- Firmware Download into PCB
Prerequisites:
- J-STD-001 Familiarity and/or Certification
- IPC-A-610 Familiarity and/or Certification
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Familiarity and/or Certification
