    Description:

    The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling Hydronic Efficiency Products (HEP) according to engineering specifications while supporting warehouse operations through receiving, material handling, inventory organization, and quality-focused processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are assembled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

    Requirements: Essential Functions
    • Assemble pressure vessel products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
    • Assemble products following the painting process and prepare completed units for shipment.
    • Assist with quality inspections, pressure testing, and leak testing.
    • Receive incoming materials and verify components meet quality requirements.
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring ASME-certified components are properly identified and stored.
    • Maintain separation of stainless steel and carbon steel materials to preserve product integrity.
    • Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging and palletizing.
    • Operate manufacturing and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other material handling equipment as authorized.
    • Accurately use measuring devices and inspection equipment to verify product quality.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S principles.
    • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality procedures.
    • Support inventory counts and general warehouse organization.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Education & Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
    • Experience reading blueprints and using measuring tools preferred.
    • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
    Work Environment

    This position operates primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The employee is routinely exposed to moving mechanical equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
