Position Overview The assembler performs duties to produce components by assembling them according to the production processes and conducts quality inspections before shipping the completed order to the customer. Position is onsite in Washington, IA with the standard schedule of four 10-hour work days (Monday-Thursday 6 to 4:30) and overtime scheduled as needed. Essential Job Functions - Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
- Installs flow meters, ECS units, hydraulics, lights and wiring.
- Operates fork lift as required.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Anticipates needed supplies.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Working Utility Lead.
- Comply with company safety regulations, mission, and core values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - High School Diploma or GED
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Problem solving skills required.
- Ability to read manufacturing instructions and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Capable of lifting 75 lbs. and standing for a 10 hour day.
