Assembly Technician - Day Shift


Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift; exact start and end times confirmed during the interview

Employment: Full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity


LINK Staffing is hiring Assembly Technicians for a full-time, temporary-to-hire manufacturing opportunity in the North Houston area. This role involves assembling, packaging, and documenting products and components while following written work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.


What You'll Do


• Assemble products, components, and subassemblies according to written work instructions, diagrams, specifications, and assigned work     orders

• Complete assembly and packaging tasks accurately and efficiently

• Complete required production and work-order documentation

• Follow established production procedures and quality standards

• Support inventory counts and material accuracy as needed

• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Maintain an organized and safe work area

• Assist with related production and warehouse duties as assigned


Required Qualifications


• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience

• Ability to read and follow written production instructions, work orders, and safety procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a production team and meet daily expectations

• Dependable attendance and ability to work the full assigned day shift

• Ability to comply with PPE requirements, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear


Preferred Qualification

• High school diploma or GED


Physical Requirements

• Able to repeatedly lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds independently, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Able to handle items weighing up to 100 pounds with team or mechanical assistance

• Able to push and pull heavy items using appropriate equipment

• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods throughout the shift
