What You Will Do
As a Assembly Technician you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.
Assemble consumer electronic products and subassemblies according to established work instructions and production schedules. B. Read and interpret electronic work orders, assembly instructions, and product specifications using company software systems. C. Retrieve required components and materials from designated inventory locations. D. Perform hand assembly of electronic and mechanical components. E. Operate powered screwdrivers and other hand tools safely and efficiently. F. Load and position components into fixtures and jigs for assembly operations. G. Operate automated screw-driving equipment and monitor machine performance during assembly processes. H. Perform soldering operations on wires, cable assemblies, and other electronic components in accordance with workmanship standards. (IPC J-STD-001) I. Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures to prevent damage to electronic components and assemblies. J. Conduct visual inspections of completed assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards and workmanship requirements. K. Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or material shortages to supervisors. L. Maintain accurate production records as required. M. Follow established safety procedures, quality requirements, and standard operating procedures. N. Maintain a clean and organized work area using good housekeeping practices. O. Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with other production tasks as assigned. P. Assist with inspection of incoming product as needed.
