Now hiring for an Assembly Technician

Location: Carlsbad, CA

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must meet U.S. Person status requirements due to export control regulations

Job Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and products according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy
  • Follow detailed work instructions and production procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work with team members to meet production goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembly Technician.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
  • Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
