HireCall is looking for dedicated, hard-working individuals with a passion for mechanics, problem-solving, and hands-on work as Medium/Large Mechanical Assembly Technicians. If you enjoy working on craftsman builds, vehicle track systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic/rotating components such as diesel engines, pumps, and hoses, we want you on our team!
Hours: 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $17-$18 per hour
Job Description:
- Performs set-up and operation as required without supervision.
- Must be able to read blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, assembly methods and sequencing.
- Performs preventative maintenance as indicated by supervision for specific machinery.
- Must be able to check alignment and movement of rotating equipment.
- Occasionally help with installs or upgrades at customer sites.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with industrial equipment, heavy machinery or similar.
- Two years of field-specific technical or vocational education preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints/schematics
- Ability to read precision tools: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic assemblies
- Forklift, overhead crane and/or rigging experience, required.
- Must be able to twist, bend, stoop, pull and lift 50+ pounds without accommodation.
