Assembly Table Assistant

What you will do: The Assembly Table Assistant supports production operations by assisting in the assembly of materials and components according to work orders and specifications and help build high-quality custom wood doors and related millwork products. This position is hands-on and works as part of a small production group using woodworking equipment, production machinery, hand tools, and quality-control practices to assemble components into finished products that meet customer specifications.

What you will do::

The Assembly Table Assistant supports production operations by assisting in the assembly of materials and components according to work orders and specifications and help build high-quality custom wood doors and related millwork products.This position is hands-on and works as part of a small production group using woodworking equipment, production machinery, hand tools, and quality-control practices to assemble components into finished products that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

• Assist in assembling materials and components based on work instructions and specifications
• Follow direction from supervisors or team leads to support production processes
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand tools and equipment
• Position, align, and secure materials to meet required specifications
• Operate production machinery, woodworking equipment, and hand or power tools safely and efficiently to construct components for custom wood doors.
• Set up, load, and monitor machines according to the job being produced, including verifying settings before production begins.
• Assemble parts and subassemblies into finished or semi-finished products while maintaining tight attention to fit, alignment, dimensions, appearance, and overall quality.
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Support team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Perform additional duties as needed

• Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to 125 lbs with proper technique and assistance when required)
• Ability to work in manufacturing or production environments
• Comfortability with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying environmental conditions
• Ability to work extended hours based on production needs
