Job Responsibilities:
• Operate Auto Assembly Equipment • Operation of solder irons • Operate hot air rework station • Operate hot air solder pencil, tweezers, and microscope • Understand and implement assembly instructions from computer-based documentation • Recognize and repair defects • Operate curing oven • Assemble miniature cable assemblies • Learn operational procedure for specialized test equipment • Operate computer-based test systems • Assist in inventory audits
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Job Qualifications:
• Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years electronics assembly experience hand soldering miniature electronics components. Further qualifications include: • Ability to solder high density miniature circuits under a microscope • Must read and understand assembly instructions • Ability to perform miniature detailed assembly work • Inspect electronics assemblies • Practical understanding of electronic components • Troubleshoot products in manufacturing • Ability to work with a microscope and various assembly tools • Desire to work • Be punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of IPC-Standards expected but not required. • IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies • J-STD-001 Soldering Standard.
