Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: To ensure that the assembly of components into finished product is done in a safe and efficient manner to meet our customer's quality expectation.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
- Possess a positive attitude and demonstrate leadership by assisting the supervisor to ensure work center safety, quality, and production requirements are being met
- Contributes positively to daily production needs and responsibilities. Communicates with supervisors and co-workers in a professional manner and shares knowledge/experience with others to enhance teamwork and overall performance
- Understand and utilize work instructions to provide training of assembly operators, document and monitor training on line, identify training needs and communicate them to the supervisors
- Accurately complete all paperwork and data collection activities
- Verifies that the correct parts are line, parts bins are labeled correctly, and all parts that are ordered and brought to the line during the shift are correct
- Verifies equipment on line is operating properly, calls for support if corrections are needed
- Is responsible for all rework that is occurring: investigate why and call for support if needed, fix rework if able to and time permits
- Ensures that safety issues are addressed and communicated in a timely manner
- Actively participates in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures. Utilize the 5-S principles to enhance plant orderliness and organization
- Set up lines according to set up procedures and verify line set up sheets are being properly utilized
- Act as a float on line and help out wherever and whenever possible
- Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions
- Must be able to work with hand tools, power tools, assembly fixturing, and testing equipment
- Must have excellent communication and organization skills
- Must have the ability to work as an effective team member
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work in a standing position for scheduled work hours
- Must be able to properly lift 40 lbs

Dayshift Assembly Point Person

Nighstshift Differential: additional $3/hr
