Assembly & Production Associate
Pay: $20/hour to start
Schedule: Choose between 4x10s or 5x8s
- Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: May be available
Position Overview
Our client is a growing plastics manufacturer producing everything from custom plastic display cases to precision plastic components used in the aerospace industry. We are currently hiring dependable Assembly & Production Associates to join their manufacturing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or general labor experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in a manufacturing environment.
The primary responsibility will be assembling plastic display cases and components by hand. Employees will use completed examples as a visual blueprint to understand how products should be assembled. The work is straightforward and repetitive, but attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are important.
Responsibilities
- Assemble plastic display cases and components using completed products as visual examples
- Glue, fit, and secure plastic components together
- Use basic hand tools and other small production tools as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and proper assembly
- Follow work instructions and production guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed
- Move materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable performing hands-on, repetitive work
- Ability to follow visual examples and basic instructions
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
