Job Title: Assembly Associate - Lighting Products
Position Summary:
The Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling lighting fixtures and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and maintaining quality standards to ensure safe and functional lighting products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble lighting fixtures, housings, and components according to work instructions
- Perform basic wiring of LED components, drivers, and connectors
- Use hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, crimpers)
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow diagrams, blueprints, and production travelers
- Package finished products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S standards)
- Report defects, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors
- Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electrical or LED assembly
- Familiarity with wiring, crimping, and connectors
- Understanding of basic quality control processes
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Repetitive tasks and fast-paced production line
- May require PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
