Position: Assembly Technician
Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: $22.01/hour
Shift: First Shift
Hours: Monday Thursday, 6: 00 AM 4: 30 PM
Overtime: Additional overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required
What You'll Do
As an Assembly Technician, you'll assemble components and subassemblies while ensuring every product meets quality and safety standards. You'll work from engineering documents and blueprints to build products accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble components, parts, and subassemblies in the proper sequence

  • Read and follow engineering specifications, blueprints, work instructions, diagrams and process sheets

  • Make adjustments as products move through the assembly process

  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality, appearance and proper operation

  • Identify and report defective parts, equipment issues or assembly concerns

  • Record defects requiring corrections

  • Move materials as needed throughout the production process

  • Perform minor touch-up or repair work when assigned

  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Assist with improving assembly processes and procedures
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (or currently working toward completion)

  • Two years of manufacturing experience preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
