We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly & Finishing
Technician to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with various
materials, including wood, metal, and composites, to ensure high-quality
finished products. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power
tools, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Sanding, cutting, and shaping materials to prepare
them for assembly and finishing
- Operating saws, sanders, and other power tools safely
and efficiently
- Assembling components using fasteners, adhesives, and
mechanical techniques
- Painting, staining, and sealing materials to meet
quality standards
- Working with basic electrical wiring for product
assembly as needed
- Inspecting parts for defects and ensuring proper fit
and finish
- Handling and lifting materials, including heavy and
bulky items
- Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and the
work area
- Following safety guidelines and proper handling of
finishing materials
- Assisting with packaging and preparing finished
products for shipment
Requirements
- Experience with hand tools and power tools (saws,
sanders, drills, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of painting, staining, and finishing
techniques
- Familiarity with basic electrical wiring and
connections
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended
periods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow
instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly
environment is a plus
