As an integral part of our Assembly Team, you'll manufacture, assemble, and refurbish aircraft components, ensuring unparalleled quality and precision. [Responsibilities]
- Interpret blueprints and work instructions to assemble aircraft parts with precision
- Use and learn precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions within .001" tolerance
- Perform hand drilling, fastener installation, part fitting, and close tolerance hole drilling
- Conduct minor filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and support critical Lockheed Aero Operations
- Modify or repair assemblies to accommodate engineering changes as needed
- Maintain a focus on quality, safety, and schedule adherence
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical specifications
- Experience with basic hand tools and precision instruments (drills, torque wrenches, inspection tools)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10 years of relevant assembly experience
[Preferred Skills]
- Familiarity with hand layout, tooling jigs, engineering prints, or digital platforms for hole location
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or aircraft assembly
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
- Proven ability to excel in both team and independent environments
