Assembler

Location: Pasadena, TX
Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Assemble valves from components
• Calibrate valves
• Install and bend stainless steel tubing
• Read technical drawings and assembly documentation
• Conduct pressure testing and hydro testing (preferred but not required)
• Troubleshoot and repair valve components

Requirements:

• Hands-on valve assembly experience
• Experience disassembling and assembling Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs)
• Lapping valve seats and discs
• Calibrating set pressures
• Performing seat leakage and set pressure testing
• Understanding API standards and pressure relief valve operation
• Experience with control valve assembly and repair
• Actuator and positioner setup
• Reading P&IDs and assembly drawings
• Experience with Becker valve assembly
• Leak testing and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills:

• Pressure testing and hydro testing experience
