Job Title: Service Technician I
Location: Sylmar, CA
Pay Rate: $21.5/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
We are hiring a Service Technician I for a medical device manufacturing environment in Sylmar, California. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong attention to detail and basic computer skills. Previous medical device experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Perform technical service and repair of Merlin@Home transmitters
Clean and decontaminate external medical devices using alcohol wipes
Work on an assembly line performing product handling and processing
Assemble HLA and Return Kits
Follow work instructions and quality standards
Use basic computer systems for documentation and tracking
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic computer skills required
Medical device or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attendance and reliability
Schedule:
Monday Friday
6:00 AM 2:30 PM
This is a contract opportunity with the potential for extension or full-time conversion based on performance and attendance, though conversion is not guaranteed.
