Assembler Level 3P

Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Responsibilities: Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.

Our Client, an EV Manufacturing company, is looking for an Assembler Level 3P for their East Setauket, NY location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present factual information.
• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
• Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

 
Requirements:

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

• Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
