Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
5+ years of mechanical assembly, electro mechanical assembly, or machine build experience
Experience in medical device, automation, capital equipment, or regulated manufacturing preferred
Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, 3D models, and assembly documentation
Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and torque tools
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
Experience with prototype builds, first article assemblies, and ECO implementation preferred
Responsibilities:
Lead assembly of complex automation systems, custom machinery, and precision mechanical assemblies
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and BOMs to support builds
Perform alignment, calibration, fitting, and tolerance verification on precision equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, fit up, and tolerance stack issues and implement corrective actions
Support prototype builds, first article assemblies, and engineering changes
Mentor junior assemblers and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
