We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (3 months with potential for extension)

Summary: 

• Assembles small to medium-sized components including fitting, alignment, and adjustment of interrelated parts.

• Performs precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components to ensure reliable connections and quality standards.

• Troubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and major assemblies while maintaining production efficiency.

• Uses hand and power tools, electrical and mechanical fixtures, and gauges for precision assembly tasks.

• Operates standard measuring and test equipment including dial indicators, micrometers, and voltmeters.

• Works with drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials to support production activities.

• Inspects and tests own work to ensure compliance with established specifications and quality standards.

• Verifies and reviews the work of others for accuracy and compliance.

• Performs mechanical, optical, and electrical or electronic operations following detailed work instructions and safety protocols.

• Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of electronics assembly experience or equivalent with soldering experience on printed circuit boards.

• Ability to solder, de-solder, rework assemblies, and perform SMT work.

• Preferred: IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certification.

• Ability to read and follow directions with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to use an ERP system to complete tasks.

• Ability to read color-coded process details.

• Ability to utilize Microsoft programs.

• Experience using hand and power tools, measuring and test equipment, drills, jigs, and fixtures.
