Job Summary

Entry-level Assembler responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components used in medical devices. The role requires strong hand dexterity, attention to detail, fine motor skills, and the ability to work with small components.

Candidates with artistic backgrounds such as drawing, painting, or sculpting are highly preferred because of the fine motor skills involved.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

·         Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

·         Assemble modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, and related components.

·         Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flows, and written/verbal instructions.

·         Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and assembly equipment.

·         Perform continuity checks and basic testing.

·         Conduct quality inspections according to specifications.

·         Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble products when required.

·         Support prototype and experimental builds.

·         Complete production documentation and records accurately.

·         Follow manufacturing procedures and quality standards.

·         Report equipment malfunctions and production issues to supervisors.

·         Assist with packaging, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

·         Entry-level – 0 years of experience required.

·         Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform detailed hand assembly.

·         Ability to work with small and delicate components.

·         Strong attention to detail.

·         Legible handwriting and accurate documentation skills.

·         Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

·         Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

 

Must-Have Skills

·         Assembly aptitude or experience.

·         Strong fine motor skills.

·         Background or demonstrated ability in traditional art, such as: Drawing, Painting, Sculpting

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         1–3 years of medical device manufacturing experience.

·         Cleanroom manufacturing experience.

·         Technical writing or production documentation experience.

 

Work Environment

·         Manufacturing/production environment.

·         Repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations.

·         Frequent use of hand tools and precision assembly techniques.

·         Work with small, delicate components requiring fine motor skills and precision.
